Types of Casinos in Atlantic City
Atlantic City, is a seaside town located in the southeast corner of New Jersey. The city was once a major tourist destination that was famous for its steel pier and boardwalk attractions, as well as being the birthplace of salt water taffy. There are now eight Atlantic City casinos (including Wild Wild West which is part of Bally’s) and at least one more casino (Hard Rock Hotel & Casino) is expected to open by the end of 2018.
All of the casinos in Atlantic City are located along the boardwalk section, but there are three exceptions: Borgata, Harrah’s and Golden Nugget. Those three Atlantic City casinos can be found in the marina section.
